What Happened
On Tuesday, Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-GA) participated in a Georgia U.S. Senate debate against Republican challenger Rep. Mike Collins (R-GA), where he signaled support for impeaching President Donald Trump if Democrats win the House majority in November.
Ossoff was asked about Democrats' plans for a third impeachment during the debate, hosted by the Atlanta Press Club. He stated that based on the evidence he has seen, President Trump's 'misconduct, abuse of power, and corruption already exceed any prior standard for impeachment.'
